Life Cycle Celebrant Services is a relatively new business recently established by Ivor Thompson and his daughter, Eleanor (Elle) Berze to help their clients prepare and officiate at their wedding, life celebrations and funeral ceremonies in a manner that is professional and memorable.

Ivor and Elle are very much people-people. They pride themselves on being good listeners and on being able to ascertain exactly what it is that their clients are trying to express and achieve. They are aware of changing trends in the community and respect and value the diversity that exists within Australian society.

This is a new service that Ivor and Elle are offering and consequently they bring with them an enthusiasm and refreshing style and outlook to this very important service within the community.

We are committed to listening to our clients so that the special occasion they want us to help organise and officiate at will be what they want it to be not just a recycled tired, old ceremony that was prepared long ago and then reused without any thought as to what the client would like.

We understand that every person is different and they want their wedding day, their life celebration event or the passing of a loved one to be appropriate and unique to them and them alone.

We Care:

We care about our clients and are committed to ensuring that their ideas are considered and included in every ceremony that we prepare for them. If for legal, technical or logistical reasons an idea or desire cannot be included, we will explain why and find an alternative plan.

We Deliver:

We are committed to delivering the best possible ceremony to our clients in a professional and enjoyable manner for them and their guests.

 

About Ivor Thompson Civil Marriage Celebrant, Life Celebration & Funeral Celebrant. Justice of the Peace:

 

Prior to completing his studies to become a Civil Marriage Celebrant, Life Celebration Celebrant and Funeral Celebrant, Ivor managed and ran two very successful businesses in the service/education and training industries. Prior to that, he was an Administrator in the public sector where he was required to interact with people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds and orientations so that they were able to achieve their employment, professional and education/training goals.

In the 1990’s Ivor was an Authorised Marriage Celebrant and officiated at a number of weddings. He also officiated at life celebration events and funerals.

Now as a semi-retired businessman, Ivor has listened to his inner voice and has decided to once again enter the field as a marriage celebrant and also to officiate at life celebration events and funerals.

Ivor has been married for over 40 years and has three children and presently has five grandchildren. His working, social and family life and life experiences have taught him what is important and what isn’t. He has an interesting way of using analogies to explain seemingly complicated aspects of a situation so that they are easily understood.

About Eleanor (Elle) Berze Life Celebration & Funeral Celebrant:

Elle is an accredited life celebration and funeral celebrant and holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Sociology and Anthropology. She has worked in the private sector since graduating. Elle has been an Operations Manager in the private sector. In her managerial role she was required to manage the learning, training and development of a large team of people. Elle understands the need for time management and has developed great organisational skills which allow her to multi-task and stay cool under pressure. Elle has also inherited her father’s need and desire to help people achieve their respective life goals.

At present, Elle is self-employed and is steadily working towards completing her current studies to attain her accreditation as a Civil Marriage Celebrant. She has been married fifteen years and has a growing family. Elle has the patience needed to make sure that any life celebration ceremony or funeral service is conducted with respect to her clients’ needs and will do her utmost to make it a day to remember, no matter the occasion.
